Eskendereya an early Kentucky Derby favorite
With the Kentucky Derby coming up quick, experts are starting to review their top contenders for the race.
Horse critics have been judging and evaluating horses for years to be able to pick possible winners. There is usually a lot of money on the line with horse races, so the more analysis you can do the better. Some of the horses that have been making buzz lately include the 3 yr. olds like Charismatic and Eskendereya.
Charismatic made a lot of hype last spring when he won the Kentucky Derby and almost took the Triple Crown as well. Eskendereya has not been as impressive, but his win in the Fountain of Youth Stakes gives the horse a good chance of taking a win in the upcoming race.
The race was pretty incredible as jockey John Velazquez and Eskendereya won the race by almost eight and a half lengths. Trainer Todd Pletcher has gone to great lengths to improve this horse in the last couple of years. Eskendereya finished ninth in Santa Anna when he was two years old. Eskendereye proved himself when he toyed with other Kentucky Derby hopefuls at the Fountain of Youth race. He did as he pleased and rocked the competition with an authoritative win.
With this big win, you can’t help but put him in the running to perform extremely well at the upcoming Kentucky Derby so place your Kentucky Derby bet early.
