Horse Racing: Questions arise if New York Racing Association going down!
After recent reports regarding the New York Racing association, the Horse Racing world is in absolute shock. The New York Racing association is reportedly out of money and on the world of Horse Racing, this will have a huge implications.
On June 5th, at Belmont, there are rumors that the upcoming race could be the last of its kind. In 1867, the Belmont Stakes first began. This yearly race that takes part in Belmont Park in Elmont, New York has become one of the most famous races in horse racing. Of the Triple Crown, it is the third and final leg.
In the world of Horse Racing, the Triple Crown is the most prestigious accomplishment. By a horse and jockey winning the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont stakes, this accomplishment is achieved.
Triple Crown’s last leg ceases to exist, it may have a detrimental impact on all of the other races. The Triple Crown pursuits Crown brings in the attention of people all around the United States. Television Channels take a pause to give a live update of the results of each of these three big races. The fans and media may shed less light on all of the other races that lead up to the Triple Crown, with no possibility of winning the Triple Crown. If this happens, Horse Racing could slowly start to die off.
All we can do is hope that horse racing will continue on again in 2011 at the Belmont Stakes and things are figured out in the next year.
